“For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation.”(Ephesians 2:14)

In order to have peace, we need to find peace. But it is impossible to find peace in places or people. Why? Because peace is a Person. Jesus is Peace. He is not a religion, He is the Prince of Peace. Many people say that they believe in Him, but have not found Him yet. Nowadays, people base their lives on feelings, worship songs, background musics, etc. These things may even make a person feel better for a little while, but then what happens afterwards? The person goes back to feeling depressed and low again. Do you want permanent peace? Look to Jesus!

As long as we are alive, our lives will not be void of problems. On the outside we will always have battles, but when God is with us we will have peace, despite the problems and hardships. And this peace, cannot be obtained from this world. “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.”(John 14:27) Many are those who win the lottery and acquire many physical possessions, but are still empty on the inside, because they don’t know the Prince of Peace, that is our Lord Jesus.

The truth is that we are now facing the end of the times and the prophecies are being fulfilled. We will need strength to keep going, and only those who have Jesus will be able to hang on to their faith and go until the end.
Many people don’t have peace, and are giving up in their faith because their conscience is accusing them. When we live a life of obedience to God, nothing accuses us and the devil is unable to point his fingers at us.

In the same way that people understand that God is love, Jesus is our Peace; and we will have this peace when we abandon our sins. That’s why it is essential that we search our hearts daily, humble ourselves and ask God to show us if there is any iniquity inside of us (Iniquity: perverse thought or feeling a person allows to grow inside). Jesus wants us to have peace, but it is up to each one of us to make a decision and not look for the peace that is temporary, we must search and acquire the peace that is everlasting. Remember, true peace only comes when we have the assurance that God is with us.
