The 3-Week Journey in the Faith of Abraham – Day 17

 “The importance of your testimony.”

Day 17 (Genesis 21)

22 “And it came to pass at that time that Abimelech and Phichol, the commander of his army, spoke to Abraham, saying, “God is with you in all that you do.”

Everything God does in our lives has a purpose a main objective… To save souls!

The main reason why God wants to make your problems come to an end and make your dreams come true is so that people can see His glory in your life and consequently decide to have communion with Him.

Our testimony serves as infallible proof of God’s existence, especially to those who don’t believe in His existence.

Abimelech did not serve the God of Abraham, however he acknowledged His work in Abraham’s life, in that moment he acknowledged God’s existence and might, through Abraham’s life, or better, Abraham’s testimony!

I would like you to look at the Campaign of Israel as an opportunity for you to become a testimony of God’s glory, a living proof of God’s existence.

If your life is not glorifying God, know that it is still serving as a testimony; I will even say “SADmony” for the devil’s glory. When people look at the life of a Christian and are not able to see the glory of God, that life becomes an instrument in the devil’s hand to spread lies about God’s existence and His power to save and transform lives.

Learn this today, your life will always be a testimony, either for God’s glory or for the Devil’s glory and according to what people see in your life (including your family members) they will decide to believe or not what you say.

You may say to people that God is great, He is real, etc, etc, etc, however, if your life doesn’t coincide with your words, no one will listen to you.

As someone once said: “A picture speaks more than 1000 words…”

I can say, “Your testimony speaks more than 1000 words, always.”

This is your moment, to become a living proof of God’s existence. Remain in faith; see you on the Altar, the place where your light will shine!

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)
