The solid ground to see you through troubled times

The Word of God is power and as we read it, verse by verse our faith is renewed. For those who are going through hard times and need a powerful message to lift their spirit up, see what God has to say:

“You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called from its farthest regions, and said to you, ‘You are My servant, I have chosen you and have not cast you away: Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. “Behold, all those who were incensed against you shall be ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish. You shall seek them and not find them — Those who contended with you. Those who war against you shall be as nothing, as a non-existent thing. For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.” (Isaiah 41:9-13)

Whoever you are, know that God sees you, out of 7 billion people! He chooses you and He talks to you.

If you feel overwhelmed, surrounded by your enemies and backed into a corner, just trust this Word.  Daniel was thrown into the lions’ den, but God shut the lions’ mouths. Similarly, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were not spared from the fire, but it did not scorch them – not even a single strand of their hair was singed. If you feel you are surrounded by “lions” and that your doom is at hand, remember: God never said He would deliver us from the lions’ den. But He did say He would deliver us from the lions.

Even if you happen to find yourself in the lions’ den, know that you are not alone. God is with you! Trust Him, just as the men of the past did, because if He is with us, who can prevail against us?

Make this Word your solid ground. Through thick and thin, God will always be there for us. Sometimes what we see is scary or ugly, but we have to keep our eyes on the Word. Worry not, overcome your fears, be revived and stand on your two feet. God will hold you up.

“…Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand”. If God is holding your hand, then what could bring you down?
